2022-2023 Student Registration and Enrollment
The Online Registration system for the 2022-23 school year will open on March 30th (CORRECTED DATE). Please note, the Course Selection process and the Online Registration process are two separate tasks.
Non-Feeder and Transfer Course Selection
If you are a parent/guardian of a student who is interested in attending La Cueva for 2022-2023 but your student does not currently attend La Cueva or a feeder Middle School (Desert Ridge, Eisenhower, Madison), you can stop by La Cueva to pick up a new student registration packet any day from 7:00am - 3:15pm. This packet will include instructions and information for you to successfully complete everything to get your student enrolled for the 2022-2023 academic year. In addition to the packet, you can also visit our Course Selection website for information.
On March 16th our Counselors hosted a Virtual Non-Feeder Course Selection Information session. They went over the classes La Cueva has to offer, graduation requirements and more. The presentation was recorded and can be found here.
The 2022-2023 Online Registration system will open on March 30th (this date was changed from March 17th). See below for information to set up your ParentVUE account and complete the registration.

Returning Students
- Log in to your ParentVUE account and complete the 2022-2023 Online Registration
- NO ParentVUE account? Go to www.mystudent.aps.edu to create account
Incoming 9th Grade Students Coming from our Feeder Schools (Desert Ridge, Madison, Eisenhower)
- Log in to your ParentVUE account and complete the 2022-2023 Online Registration
- Upload Proof of Residency-Required to accept your registration
New Students to APS
- Go to https://www.aps.edu/schools/enrollment
- Create ParentVUE account and complete the 2022-2023 Online Registration
- All new students must upload proof of residency, birth certificate and immunization records-Required to accept your registration
Transfer Students (students who want to attend La Cueva but don't live in the La Cueva district)
- Go to https://www.aps.edu/schools/transfers/aps-student-transfers
- Complete application
- Transfers are handled by the District. Contact 505-855-9040 for assistance

- Once you received your Acceptance Letter, email it to sharon.ade@aps.edu
- Next step instructions will be emailed to you

Required Uploaded Documents to Establish Residency
- A deed or mortgage payment receipt, dated within 60 days of enrollment
- A current property tax bill, current lease or housing agreement
- A current PNM or Gas bill, dated within 60 days of enrollment
Additional Documents to upload in your Online Registration
- Immunization Record
- All students enrolled in APS must have updated vaccination records
- Legal documentation (if applicable)
- 504 or IEP (if applicable)
All NEW STUDENTS COMING FROM NON-APS SCHOOLS MUST COMPLETE A RECORD REQUEST
- Complete the Request for Records seen below
- Email completed form to your previous school and copy sharon.ade@aps.edu on your email
